The circular economy is when we truly remove disposal from our vocabulary, not only recycling materials a couple of times, but keeping them in play forever.

AND WE DIDN'T STOP THERETHE EXTRA MILE

Our team doesn't just make great quality products, we show you how to use them sustainably for life. And if one day they become damaged, we want you to come to us and find a way to reuse them.

  • We have bought back garments from our customers so they can be sold as Tallis Refurb in our Swiss store

  • We mend items for customers or give them tips to do it at home

  • We've restyled unworn hand-me-down coats into scarves or cushions

  • We've emailed a customer in an emergency to help them undo a laundry shrinkage disaster (yes, it is possible with water and patience!)

  • We have a yarn supplier who shreds unusable cashmere and wool to create yarns with which to knit new accessories

At Tallis, we think about our products in sets and create a system around them to close the loop. Our products are made in high-quality materials, often by hand, and they are designed to last a lifetime, are worth mending, and even remain valuable after they’re finished with.

Now that’s worth shouting about.

SAVING WASTE

Our approach reduces waste, because we see things which are usually thrown away as potentially valuable inputs for something new.

PROTECTING THE PLANET

Living like this is planet positive. Life on Earth relies on a cycle. If we follow this pattern of nature in everything we do too, the planet will be in balance.

WE'RE ALL PART OF THE STORY6 WAYS TO THINK CIRCULAR

  1. Invest in quality: one of the biggest parts of the circular economy is using products for as long as possible

  2. Use & wash products sustainably

  3. Up-cycle or resell clothes

  4. Think about the future of the product you’re buying at the moment you purchase it

  5. Use our online Eco Wardrobe Guide to make the most of your clothing

  6. Teach your children about sustainability, use our free Eco Treasure Hunt game!
