Teens Summer Sewing Workshop: The Designer Experience
Tallis has teamed up with Caroline Miles to offer this three-day Eco-Workshop for 14/15 years+ teenaged boys and girls. Running from 9-13hr daily at our lakeside atelier in Geneva, learn how design a skirt, a pair of shorts, a top, a t-shirt or a dress using recycled materials and old or unused clothing.
Develop your future creative fashion designer skills Learn key skills such as:
- Make a pattern
- Taking your measurements
- How to use a sewing machine
- How to use an overlock machine
- Sewing basics
- Recognising different fabrics and how to work them
Bring along old or unused clothes from home, or unused textiles such as curtains or towels.
All sewing supplies and extra fabrics are included. Students take home all projects created in the sewing workshop.
Price for workshop: 400CHF per student (due to Covid-19, we have reduced the number of students to guaranty more spacing between them).

Dates: 20-22 July, 9-13hr daily.
Location: Tallis Atelier, Rue Docteur-Alfred-Vincent 10, 1201 Geneva
(5 minutes walk from Cornavin station).
